When we began to work on Salem Cemetery, we found we had three readings. 1. The original DAR 2. the John Conner Jr. Historical Society and 3. A recent reading done when the cemetery was being repaired. The following is a comparison between the three readings, it gives you an idea how the cemetery has decayed and it helps find people one reading may have missed. 1. is DAR 2. is JCJHS and a line with notations like Monument marble was the last to be done.
